During the summer holidays, the Vredeoord animation team organizes fun activities for all ages: workshops, games, sports, and crafts. If the weather is bad, it’s indoors; if the weather is good, we head outside.
At Restaurant PUUR, it’s all about gezelligheid. In the Sports Café, you can watch exciting matches together on big screens and enjoy a bite and a drink at the bar.
Our laundry room is perfect for in-between washes. There’s a washing machine and a dryer, so your clothes are fresh again in no time. You can easily pay contactless—nice and convenient.

Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash and do not cause any nuisance. There is a designated dog-walking area, and dog waste bags are available, so everyone can enjoy their stay.

Your starting point at Vredeoord: our reception. In addition to checking in and out for short-stay guests, the reception also serves as an information centre. Our team is here to help with any questions. They know the park and the surrounding area like no one else, and will be happy to share tips for fun outings or beautiful walking and cycling routes.
Good to know: from spring 2025, we’ll be able to serve you even better! That’s when we’ll open our brand-new, spacious reception building, complete with a coffee corner where you can enjoy a friendly chat. This building will also house the indoor playground ‘Jungles’ for the kids.
